Happy new year! I am kicking off 2026 with a massive update. This update introduces new features, quality of life changes, bug fixes, accessibility improvements, and security improvements.

Multiple windows can no longer be open at once
Changed app icons on Windows and macOS to the new logo and in proper formats
Changed TaskBookly icon in the sidebar to match the new logo
Windows NSIS installer now has custom install/uninstall sidebar banners
Buttons in groups have new styling to make them look more grouped together
Disabed buttons on focus timer controls now have tooltips to convey why they're disabled
Disabled buttons now give the not allowed cursor
The focus timer will now slightly fade when the session is paused
The Add Time button icon was changed
The period completion notification sound has been changed
Information about break charging is now in a information popup menu in the corner of its container
Removed pointless Check for updates automatically setting, updates are now checked regardless
Reverted icon position in container headers
Removed "NEW!" labels from themes in the theme picker
Reset all settings to default now prompts a popup modal and has new button and description text
Merged Enable break charges setting into the break charging container and make transition periods its own container
Changed the Focus notifications setting description in Settings > Notifications
Removed the Notifications Only setting from the Focus notifications setting
Removed Work period and break period duration settings in favor of the new focus presets feature, a temporary info modal is now in those settings' places
Changed styling and text layout in the break charging container in the focus section
Removed copy buttons from various data values in Settings > About that wouldn't really need them
Various links in the macOS menu bar now direct to the website
Renamed User Data to App Data in Settings > About

Bug fixes
Fixed an issue where break charge progress could still be earned whilst break charging was disabled in settings
Fixed an issue on Windows where the application would be displayed as "TaskBookly <version>" rather than just TaskBookly in System Settings > Installed Apps
Fixed an issue where clicking the update available notification would bring you to the GitHub repository releases instead of the TaskBookly website
This will only apply when currently on TaskBookly versions 0.4.0+
