TaskBookly v0.2.3 - release notes

Code

This update features minor improvements, bug fixes, and security updates.

Changes

  • TaskBookly will now catch fatal errors and safely close/restart the app without encountering other problems

  • The settings system is now mostly handled in the backend and will adjust the settings file to remove no longer used settings or insert missing data. This fixes issues that would have become a problem in the future when certain settings are renamed, moved, or removed

  • Removed the Launch upon login (Windows exclusive) setting due to countless system level issues I've ran into without any control over, this might come back in the future

  • Rewrote settings descriptions that may have been confusing for many users

  • Scrollbars are now custom styled

  • Adjusted some CSS

  • Added option to report an issue in help menu on macOS

  • Updated package dependencies

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the focus timer wouldn't count with missing settings data

  • Fixed an issue that caused TaskBookly to throw an unresolved error when closing a window with a focus timer actively counting on Windows

  • Fixed an issue where the selected buttons' surface lighting with the Catppuccin theme were hard to see
